Guide · Updated June 2026

Visa-free countries for Filipinos

The Philippine passport gets visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 36+ destinations covered in this guide. Here's where you can fly from Manila with just a passport, a return ticket, and proof of funds — no embassy queues.

Reality check: visa-free doesn't mean fee-free. Many countries charge a tourist tax (Indonesia: USD 10, Thailand: THB 300 from 2026), and immigration can still refuse entry without a return ticket, hotel booking, or ~USD 100/day in proof of funds. Always check the embassy site within a week of flying.

Southeast Asia (ASEAN)

All ASEAN neighbors are visa-free for Philippine passport holders. The easiest, cheapest trips from MNL — most are under ₱25,000 all-in for a 4–5 day getaway.
