Georgia 🇬🇪

Tbilisi & Kazbegi

Georgia is one of the most underrated destinations for Filipino travelers — and it's visa-free for Philippine passport holders for up to one year! Tbilisi's old town is a maze of balconied houses, sulfur baths, and wine bars serving 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition. The Caucasus Mountains around Kazbegi offer alpine scenery rivaling Switzerland at a fraction of the cost. Georgian food — khachapuri (cheese bread), khinkali (dumplings), and supra feasts — is legendary. Warm hospitality, stunning landscapes, and no visa hassle make Georgia a hidden gem.

With seniors

Tbilisi Old Town has some hills and uneven cobblestones. Shared taxis (marshrutka) to Kazbegi are affordable but can be cramped — hire a private driver (~₱2,000/day) for comfort. Sulfur baths have private rooms. Excellent value for money at every comfort level.
