Phuket's calm west coast beaches (Surin, Bang Tao, Karon) are safe for young swimmers in dry season. Phi Phi snorkeling is fantastic for older kids. Elephant sanctuaries offer genuine animal connection. Avoid Patong's nightlife strip with young children.
