Cagayan de Oro & Camiguin

CDO is the whitewater rafting capital of the Philippines — the Cagayan River's Class 3–4 rapids are thrilling for families with older kids. But Camiguin Island, 2 hours away by ferry, is the true hidden gem: a tiny island with more volcanoes than towns, natural hot springs, cold springs, sunken cemetery, and the famous white island sandbar. Camiguin's Lanzones Festival in October is a beloved celebration.
