Boracay's White Beach is one of the world's most photographed beaches — 4 kilometers of powder-white sand fringing crystal-clear calm sea. After its 2018 rehabilitation, the island emerged cleaner and better managed than ever. Station 1's luxury resort strip, Station 2's activity hub, and the kite-surfing haven of Bulabog Beach give the island varied character. Sunset sailing parachute boats drift past as the sky turns orange nightly.

Best for
With kids
Station 1's calm, shallow waters are perfect for young swimmers. Helmet diving lets non-swimming children experience underwater life safely. Paraw sailboats accommodate families. The beach itself — sandcastles, frisbee, shell collecting — keeps kids happy for days.
With seniors
Boracay is flat and very walkable along the beach path. Station 1 has luxury resorts with excellent facilities and direct beach access. The beach is soft sand throughout. Avoid peak December–January for a more relaxed experience.
Visa
Domestic. Philippine ID required. Environmental fee ₱75 per person on arrival. Follow all beach rules post-rehabilitation.
When to go
Best: Nov–Apr (Amihan/northeast trade winds — calm on White Beach). Avoid: May–Oct (Habagat/southwest monsoon — White Beach can be choppy). Amihan brings world-class kitesurfing at Bulabog.
Getting there from MNL
